Watercolor Workshop: Primary Colors

You have probably heard of the color wheel and the primary colors? And you know that you can paint everything using just yellow, red and blue. Let's try and see if the theory has it right! 

At our next workshop with Daria Kozlova at Paguro Vulkan Showcase, we will paint succulents using only three primary colors. We will cover some color theory, and learn about secondary and tertiary colors. We will do color mixing exercises and see how watercolor in real life corresponds with the concept. We will closely look at our botanical "models" study their structure, and carefully draw them. And finally paint them using wet on wet watercolor technique!

The class is suitable for beginners. Step-by-step instructions from your teacher Daria make the whole process clear and easy to follow.

All art supplies will be provided. We use extra-fine White Nights watercolor paint and Saunders Waterford 100% cotton paper.

The class is limited to eight people. Registration is required.
