Stabbur is a traditional Norwegian farm building designed and built to store food. See those little "legs"? It is pillars made of stone or wood to elevate stabbur from the ground so mice would not find their way inside. Imagine my surprise when I saw a stabbur in Oslo, not in the Folkemuseum, but almost in the city centre in someone's backyard! Apparently, it is cool to build one even if you don't live on a farm.
